Spend July at Rob Reiner’s Malibu home for $100,000
Rob Reiner, whose “All in the Family” role launched his stardom in the 1970s, is the latest landlord of note to put his Malibu beach house up for lease. For $100,000 you get July, and that’s a relative bargain.
The Cape Cod-inspired retreat, built in 1928, was offered last year at $110,000 a month and two years ago at $150,000.
Set behind the gates of Malibu Colony, the 2,755-square-foot summer spot features beamed ceilings and skylights. There’s a family room with a fireplace, five bedrooms, six bathrooms and steps to the sand.
A patio with a spa and decks on both levels take in the ocean views.
The Emmy Award-winning Reiner, 68, has had a directing career distinguished by such films as “When Harry Met Sally...” (1989), “Stand by Me” (1986) and the cult classic “This is Spinal Tap” (1984). More recently, he was in “The Wolf of Wall Street” and appears in the series “New Girl,” starring Zooey Deschanel.
Hat tip goes to Celebrity Address Aerial for spotting the listing.
Sandro Dazzan and Cooper Mount of Coldwell Banker are the leasing agents.
