Saints great Willie Roaf asks $1.25 million for Riverside home
Football fans, take note: A gated estate owned by Hall of Fame offensive tackle Willie Roaf has listed for sale in Riverside at $1.25 million.
The two-story Traditional home, built in 2007, offers canyon and city views from its hillside location in Alessandro Heights. The 4,586 square feet of living space contains a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast bar, a great room with a fireplace, four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The master suite has a large walk-in closet.
Designed for entertaining, the landscaped grounds feature a saltwater pool and spa with a waterfall feature. A courtyard, a patio and a cabana with a moving screen also reside on more than three-quarters of an acre.
Roaf, 44, notched 11 Pro Bowl appearances and two NFL All-Decade Teams selections in 13 seasons with the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs. He was enshrined in Canton, Ohio, at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012.
Public records show that Roaf purchased the home in December 2013 for $1.05 million. Dolly Andre of Re/Max Partners is the listing agent.
Last year, the retired All-Pro sold a 6,500-square-foot home in Villa Park for $2.15 million. Roaf also maintains residences in Kenner, La., and Las Vegas.
