Nearly all of Southern California saw its unsold inventory dip in the month of August, with the one exception being Ventura, according to a survey by the National Assn. of Realtors. The barometer of housing-market health showed the biggest month-over-month change in Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange counties, indicating a continued seller’s market.

Here’s a sample of what about $600,000 buys in those three counties.
