Miami City Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker’

Miami City Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” features youth dancers from Colburn School and the Gabriella Foundation, which provides dance education to low-income families.

The dancers’ ages range from 7 to 14.

The dancers put in long hours. “They’ve been working on this for a long time,” Music Center chief executive Rachel Moore says.

In all, 65 young dancers will perform in Miami City Ballet’s new production of “The Nutcracker,” beginning Thursday.
