Harvey Weinstein, Georgina Chapman welcome a baby boy
Harvey Weinstein and wife Georgina Chapman have a new silver lining: The power couple has added its first baby boy to their playbook.
Chapman, 37, a co-founder of fashion house Marchesa and a “Project Runway: All Stars” judge, gave birth to the little studio exec last Thursday in New York, Weinstein’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly.
No word yet on the little guy’s name or weight.
In February, Chapman walked the red carpet at the Academy Awards concealing her baby bump in a flowing ivory gown. She was on the arm of her husband, who produced the best picture nominee “Silver Linings Playbook.”
Chapman and Weinstein, chairman of movie studio the Weinstein Co., already have a daughter together, India Pearl, 2. Weinstein, 62, has three daughters from a previous marriage: Emma, Lily and Ruth.
When the couple announced they were expecting last December, Weinstein said he didn’t know the sex.
“It could be Harvey and five daughters,” he told Page Six, which first announced the birth. “I’d be happy either way.”
The couple began dating in 2005 and married in December 2007.
