A “Kardashian,” a $2-million bra and a British songstress will be hitting the glittery catwalk at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The Kardashian clan’s resident model, Kendall Jenner, will walk in the holiday panty parade this year — news that she called “the best birthday present of all time.” She’ll join BFF and fellow VSFS rookie Gigi Hadid in the show this month.
“the best birthday present EVER! @victoriassecret’s newest recruits. oh and I get to do it with my best friend,” Jenner later tweeted, posting an illustration of herself and Hadid.
The reality star and fashion model, who turned 20 on Tuesday, has previously expressed interest in walking the high-profile runway.
“It’s always been kind of a dream of mine,” Jenner told E! News back in April 2013 when she first hit the modeling scene. “It’s a very great thing to do, and it’s something I’d love to do.”
Jenner and Hadid will strut their stuff along with Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge. This year Aldridge has the honor of modeling the lingerie company’s big ticket showstopper, dubbed the Fireworks Fantasy Bra.
“I can’t believe that this year is my year,” said Aldridge, 29, in a video unveiling the sparkly confection designed by jeweler Mouawad.
There are about 6,500 gems on the colorful bra, which is fashioned to look like a bursting fireworks display, and a body cast of Aldridge had to be made to build it. The lingerie took about 685 hours to create and totals 1,364 carats. The matching panties are adorned with 126 diamonds and 400 other precious stones, according to E! News.

The fashion show, which takes place Nov. 10 in New York City and will be telecast Dec. 8 on CBS, had initially announced that this year’s musical lineup would feature Selena Gomez, the Weeknd and Rihanna.
However, Rihanna, who performed during the 2012 show, reportedly dropped out to focus on her music and has been replaced by “Love You Like I Do” singer Ellie Goulding, according to People.
