When it comes to uber-stylist Rachel Zoe’s influence over actress Nicole Richie, the word “transformation” is a gross understatement. Richie looks like an entirely different woman today than she did during her “Simple Life” days, largely thanks to her former stylist, Zoe. In this photo of the trendsetters, note Richie’s massive pile of bracelets, a Zoe-camp must-have. (Toby Canham / Getty Images)
Lindsay Lohan
Who is this pale blond stick figure and what has she done with the voluptuous, redheaded, Lindsay Lohan? Under the tutelage of Zoe, Lohan’s weight dwindled as her style soared. Many blamed the pint-sized Zoe and even accused her of dispensing diet pills to her clients. (Kevin Winter / Getty Images)
Keira Knightley
Zoe’s influence is not restricted to tabloid princesses such as Lohan and Richie. She has also dressed more serious actresses such as Oscar-nominee Keira Knightley. (Warren Toda / EPA)

Anne Hathaway
You’d never guess it, but Rachel Zoe also styles Anne Hathaway. The pale, dark-haired actress lacks the distinctive look of the “Zoebots,” i.e. platinum tresses and burnt sienna skin.
“I’m not trying to make people look like me,” Zoe told The Times in 2005. “But when you spend a lot of time with someone, you rub off on each other. I think I’m kind of an older sister to Lindsay and Nicole.” (Claudio Onorati / EPA)
Joy Bryant
Actress Joy Bryant (“Antwone Fisher”), center, is such a loyal client that she even appeared on Zoes Bravo reality series. On the show, Zoe helped Bryant pick a red carpet gown in a matter of minutes. (Stephen Lovekin / Getty Images)
Molly Sims
Molly Sims also appears on “The Rachel Zoe Project,” and the former model is Zoe’s most rebellious client of the season. When Zoe forbids Sims to wear a certain dress with tights, Sims defies her, flaunting the ensemble at the Independent Spirit Awards anyway. Zoe admits the decision was understandable on her show. “It was cold.” (Jason Kempin / Getty Images)
Cameron Diaz
Harper’s Bazaar asked Cameron Diaz if there was any truth to rumors that Zoe forces her celebrity clientele to get skinny. Diaz responded, “Print that I laughed out loud.” “She’s more likely to press big dangly earrings or chunky necklaces on you! No one can make somebody do something they’re not already predisposed to doing,” Diaz continued. In the same story, Zoe noted, “I don’t have one client right now who is a size zero. All of my clients have athletic or curvy, healthy bodies.” (Ken Shimizu / AFP / Getty Images)

Mischa Barton
The former “O.C.” starlet was one of Hollywood girls who became known as a Zoebot -- one of the several tiny-framed actresses who were styled to emphasize their thinness with large over-sized sunglasses and accessories. Debra Messing
Soft, relaxed curls, blingy Oscar de la Renta gown -- Debra Messing’s SAG Awards number was the unmistakable work of Team Zoe. On her blog, Zoe called it one of her “hero dresses”: “I really do get crazy for certain dresses. ... When those things happen where I fixate on a dress and it actually comes to life on one of my clients, it’s always the greatest feeling. It’s like you fell in love, you dated, and then you got married.” (Anne Cusack / Los Angeles Times)
Kate Hudson
Zoe’s longtime client Kate Hudson wore a Chloe dress to the launch party at the Gramercy Park Hotel for the stylist’s TV series. Before that, Zoe told the Associated Press that a recent favorite she had selected for Hudson was the green Galliano kimono dress the actress wore to the London premiere of “Fool’s Gold.” (Allan Zepeda / Associated Press)
