Last December, the Boston Herald reported that comic Mike OMalley, last seen in ABC’s short-lived spy drama “My Own Worst Enemy,” has been working with singer Jimmy Buffett on a new show based on the “characters” in the tune “Margaritaville.” (These characters? Nibblin’ on sponge cake, watchin’ the sun bake, all of those tourists covered with oil. Strummin’ my six-string on my front porch swing, smell those shrimp, they’re beginnin’ to boil.)
