Elizabeth Berkley and Greg Lauren have welcomed a son
Elizabeth Berkley and husband Greg Lauren are the proud parents of a new baby boy.
“I am moved to share the birth of our new baby boy Sky Cole Lauren,” the “Showgirls” and “Saved by the Bell” actress tweeted Monday. “Thank u for your beautiful wishes and blessings. We r grateful!”
Sky weighed in at 8 pounds when he was born July 20, People reported Monday. Mom, incidentally, turned 40 on Saturday.
“In life there are moments you cherish forever and this is one of them,” Berkley told TMZ in March, when she went public with the pregnancy. She and actor-painter Lauren have been married since 2003.
The “Ask Elizabeth” author was not the only “Bell” alum to notch one for the family album this month: Former costar Mark-Paul Gosselaar got hitched on Saturday to Catriona McGinn.
