SUNDAY

Her majesty: In the documentary special “Royal Memories: Prince Charles’ Tribute to the Queen,” the potential future king of Great Britain uses photographs and home movies to paint a personal portrait of his dear old mum. (KOCE, 8 p.m.)

Lucy and Ethel. Kirk and Spock. Bert and Ernie. Sam and Diane. Mulder and Scully. See which of your favorite small-screen pairings made the list in the special “TV’s Most Dynamic Duos: Presented by the Paley Center for Media.” (ABC, 9 p.m.)

MONDAY

Patients check in, but they don’t check out, in a new two-part adaptation of Robin Cook’s “Coma.” The scariest part? They’re still responsible for the 50% copay. With Ellen Burstyn, above left, and Lauren Ambrose. (A&E;, 9 p.m.; also Tue.)

TUESDAY

Hopefully, there’s no such medical malpractice going on at Cook County Hospital. That’s the setting for “Chicago Trauma,” a new docu-series about top-flight surgical teams performing life-saving procedures in the Windy City. (National Geographic, 10 p.m.)

WEDNESDAY

Just whistle: One of Hollywood’s greatest romantic couplings, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall share the screen in 1944’s “To Have and Have Not,” 1946’s “The Big Sleep,” 1947’s “Dark Passage” and 1948’s “Key Largo.” (TCM, 5, 7, 9 and 11 p.m.)

Have you ever been to the Bowers Museum of Cultural Art? If not, you should go; lots of nice stuff there. But if you’d like a preview, “America’s Lost Treasures” will visit the venerable Santa Ana institution in its season finale. (National Geographic, 10 p.m.)

THURSDAY

Pink, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Green Day and One Direction will take the stage — and hopefully, give it back when they’re done — when comedian Kevin Hart hosts the “2012 MTV Video Music Awards” from Staples Center. (MTV, VH1, 8 p.m.)

FRIDAY

On your feet: Some big names — including Gwyneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Samuel L. Jackson and rock music’s Coldplay — will “Stand Up to Cancer” when this star-studded, multi-network telethon returns for its third outing. (CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, E!, Encore, ION, HBO, Logo, Showtime, Starz, Style, TBS, VH1, 8 p.m.)

SATURDAY

Did she not see “Magic Mike”? Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, below, are newlyweds, but a car crash causes her to develop amnesia and she loses all memory of him in the 2012 romantic drama “The Vow,” based on a true story. (Starz, 9 p.m.)
