Look out, Donald Trump: Megyn Kelly is getting her own prime-time special on Fox

Fox has announced a special that Donald Trump likely will not put in his DVR queue.

The broadcast network will feature Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly in her her first prime-time special on Fox Broadcasting on May 23. The special will mark the first time a Fox News personality will have a showcase slot on Fox.

The one-hour special will feature “The Kelly File” host interviewing personalities from the world of politics, entertainment and other areas of human interest.

“Showcasing Kelly’s renowned journalism skills, as well as her personality and quick wit, this up-to-the minute hour will also be personal in nature and address the year Kelly has had as one of the most prominent voices covering the 2016 presidential campaign,” the network said in a statement.

Kelly has become more high profile during the current presidential campaign, co-moderating each of Fox News Channel’s three Republican presidential primary debates, alongside Bret Baier and Chris Wallace. She clashed with Republican presidential front-runner Trump in the first debate, and he has lobbed criticism against her.
