For Angel Duran of Glendale, fashion is “whatever I feel like that day. A lot of people dress straight out of the catalogs. We call them ‘right off the rack.’”
Ming Lee, with his 6-month-old Siberian Husky, Oz, says he used to be a surfer but is soon going to be a dad, so he’s saving money on fashion and wears “whatever fits the wallet.”
Ariel La Salle, born and raised in Pasadena and holding her Terrier mix, Lucy, is a “jeans and tank tops kind of girl.” She admits that “sometimes I put a cute dress on Lucy. I dress her up for the holidays.”
Patrick Waugh of San Marino describes his look as “beachy American Apparel.” He also says “you should always have a hot pair of sunglasses. It’s like the bow on top of the gift.”
Jose Contreras of Silver Lake likes to dress casual, “nothing more, nothing less.” His style is also ever changing. “One day I could look like this, next day like I’m from Texas.”
Nina Yoon, 16, of La Crescenta says, “I like to dress older than my age” and adds that she dressed more casually than usual today because she came to shop.
Hana Lee, 16, of La Crescenta says that people should be themselves. She describes her own look as “just fresh, clean and casual. On hot days, flowy tank top with shorts and pretty sandals.”
Travis Sabaitis of Pasadena thinks of his style “as ‘60s-’70s, long hair, tight shirts, folk style.” About his current outfit: “It’s fitted cause I’m skinny!”

Lauren Lopez prefers “pretty basic tops with bigger jewelry and accessories.” Today she is wearing a black gold watch and carrying a Louis Vuitton bag.
