Cognoscenti Coffee finds a home of its own in Culver City
- Share via
After a final health inspection, the new Cognoscenti Coffee space officially opens Wednesday.
Two years ago, Yeekai Lim’s Cognoscenti Coffee pop-up shop found a permanent home under the same roof as Na Young Ma’s Proof Bakery in Atwater Village. Now the architect-turned-barista is opening a new location in the Culver City Arts District.
The Westside edition of Cognoscenti Coffee is in a 400-square-foot space on the ground level of the Clive Wilkinson Architects complex on Washington Boulevard.
Yeekai and his team will be brewing selections from a new line-up of roasters including Wrecking Ball and Ritual from San Francisco, Counter Culture from North Carolina, and Phil and Sebastian Coffee Roasters from Calgary. The shop will serve pastries from Proof Bakery to keep up with the popular pairing of Lim’s coffee and Ma’s croissants.
Cognoscenti will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
6114 Washington Blvd., Culver City, www.popupcoffee.com.
