Now Space art and vintage store

Furniture and furnishings, many from the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s, are among the eclectic offerings at Now Space.

Now Space is a multidisciplinary creative space functioning as a gallery, retail shop, music venue, screening room, workshop and artist residency. These were among recent items for sale.

Located within an area zoned for industrial use in El Sereno, Now Space is open weekend afternoons and by appointment.

Now Space is an extension of Astrelle Johnquest’s final thesis project at Otis College of Art and Design.

Astrelle Johnquest curates Now Space, which also hosts occasional live performances.

Now Space’s ever-changing inventory from ongoing estate sale and thrift store escapades might include a Danish modern dining set, Nelson bubble lamps, kitschy ceramic birds and vintage magazines.
