Zoo Mitch and Abraham (Billy Burke, Nonso Anozie) scramble to find Jackson (James Wolk) before General Davies (guest star Peter Outerbridge) and his International Animal Defense Group can capture him. 9 p.m. CBS

Halt and Catch Fire The action shifts to Silicon Valley as this acclaimed period drama returns with two new episodes. It’s 1986 and Joe (Lee Pace) is back on top with his new company, McMillan Utility, but he’s looking for the next big thing. Annabeth Gish joins the cast. Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishe, Toby Huss and Scoot McNairy also star. 9 and 10 p.m. AMC
Better Late Than Never William Shatner, Henry Winkler, Terry Bradshaw and George Foreman embark on an uncharted journey through Asia. Jeff Dye hosts. 10 p.m. NBC
One Shot Sway Calloway searches the streets of Atlanta for the nation’s next undiscovered hip-hop artist in this new unscripted series. 10 p.m. BET
Adam Ruins Everything Skeptic Adam Conover returns for a new season of getting to the bottom of life’s mis-solved mysteries. In the season premiere Rachel Bloom (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) helps Adam look at Hollywood and expose some of the hidden truths behind the superficial glamour. 10 p.m. TRU
