Quarterfinals
DIVISION I
Foothill 9, Long Beach Millikan 3
Kelsey Holshouser scored a season-high three goals and Jillian Kraus had one goal, four steals and one assist for Foothill (26-3) in a Southern Section Division I quarterfinal game at Long Beach State. Sarah Odegard had two goals for Millikan.
Long Beach Wilson 7, Montebello 4
Allison Perez scored three goals, and Lauren Silver, Casie Mota and Amy Lamb had the other goals for Long Beach Wilson in a Southern Section Division I quarterfinal game at Long Beach State University.
Newport Harbor 11, El Toro 6
Carolyn Conway had four goals and Anne Belding added three goals for top-seeded Newport Harbor (25-3) in a Southern Section Division I quarterfinal game at El Toro.
Ashling had two goals, and Melissa Wheeler and Sarah Mutt had the other ones for the Sailors, who have won four in a row since a loss to Foothill in the semifinals of the Southern California Championships.
Newport Harbor converted on two of four 6-on-5 opportunities and stopped three of four for El Toro. Molly Pierson had four goals to lead El Toro (16-14).
Santa Margarita 6, Los Alamitos 4
Darby Anderson had three goals and Anne Markel had two goals and four steals for Santa Margarita (19-10) and the Eagles upended third-seeded Los Alamitos (21-9) in a Southern Section Division I quarterfinal game at Golden West College.
Anderson has 104 goals this season. Brooke Figge had the other goal for the Eagles, who were up, 4-2, at halftime and maintained the lead throughout.
Jessica Lewis, Danielle Pelke, Kelsie Sallade and Dayna Wawrzynski each scored a goal for Los Alamitos.Goalie Caitlin O’Connor had nine saves for Santa Margarita and Lauren Burke made nine saves for Los Alamitos.
DIVISION II
Anaheim Canyon 11, Troy 5
Courtney Mathewson had seven goals and nine steals and Ashley Foley added three goals for Anaheim Canyon (20-10), which led 3-2 after the first quarter and 7-3 at halftime of the Southern Section Division II quarterfinal victory over visiting Troy (22-4). On Wednesday, the Comanches will face top-seeded defending division champion Corona del Mar in the semfinals for the second year in a row. The teams have not met this season.
Corona del Mar 7, Villa Park 4
Katie Kubas had three goals and Jordan Anae added two goals for top-seeded Corona del Mar (20-9) in a Southern Section Division II quarterfinal game at El Toro High. Katya Eadington and Camille Hewko had the other goals for the Sea Kings.
Peninsula 3, Irvine University 0
Tekia Beckmann scored all three goals and keeper Natalie Kim stopped 10 shots to lift Peninsula (23-4). University is 12-19.
DIVISION III
Ayala 11, La Canada 1
Chelsea Curren had six goals to lead Ayala (24-7) in a quarterfinal game at Pasadena City College. Ayala goalie Sharon Rich made six saves on seven La Canada shot attempts, and the Bulldogs converted seven goals in eight man-up situations while allowing the Spartans (19-10) just one goal in 13 six-on-five situations.
El Rancho 13, Bonita 7
Sharayah Hernandez and Denice Padilla each had three goals and Miriam Quintanilla had 10 saves for third-seeded El Rancho (27-3) in a Southern Section Division III quarterfinal playoff game at Whittier High. El Rancho, which lost to St. Lucy’s in overtime in the quarterfinals last season, converted in three of four six-on-five situations against Bonita. Julia Fancher scored three goals to lead the Bearcats (18-12).
Temple City 13, Crescenta Valley 5
Ivone Garcia had four goals and six assists and Jessica Coy and Robin Harney each had three goals for Temple City (23-6) in a Southern Section Division III game at Whittier High. Shannon Lane had nine saves in goal for Temple City, which led 12-1 at one point.
DIVISION IV
Agoura 10, Ventura 8
Stephanie Pearce had two goals in the fourth quarter to help Agoura (22-8) to a Southern Section Division IV quarterfinal victory at Ventura. Meghan Corso led the Chargers with three goals, which raised her season total to 95, and Megan O’Linn had two goals, three assists and eight steals. Nicole Pecel had four goals for Ventura.
Royal 7, Dos Pueblos 4
Katie Harding had three goals and three steals and Sharleanna Richardson scored twice for Royal (21-7) in a Southern Section Division IV quarterfinal game at UC Santa Barbara. Angie Rampton, Melissa Dicato and Kelly Palmberg had the other goals, and goalkeeper Brandy Creek made 11 saves for the Highlanders, who have won six consecutive games.
Santa Barbara 17, Lompoc 4
Kami Craig scored nine goals to tie a single-game school record for Santa Barbara (27-2), which has won its 20 consecutive games after the Southern Section Division IV quarterfinal game at Nipomo High.
Miranda Nichols added three goals and four assists and Nicole Louie had three assists and four steals for the Dons, the defending Division IV champions.
Craig, who has 115 goals this season -- another school record -- tied the single-game record of former Santa Barbara standout Thalia Munro, a member of the U.S. national team. Nichols is second on the team with 77 goals.
DIVISION V
Arlington 15, King 6
Nikki Frish scored five goals to lead Arlington (24-6) in a Southern Section Division V quarterfinal game at Arlington. Cydney Owen, Melissa de Jonckheere, Layla Behzadian each had three goals for for the fourth-seeded Lions. Frish, who had seven goals in a first-round victory over Fontana, leads Arlington with 86 goals this season. Abby York had four goals for King (22-5).
Redlands 7, Riverside North 4
Corrie Stuurmsa had three goals for third-seeded Redlands (26-2) in a Southern Section Division V quarterfinal game at Sippy Woodhead Pool in Riverside.
Riverside Poly 26, Temescal Canyon 7
Monique Blanchard scored nine goals and Samantha Greenawalt added eight goals to lead visiting Riverside Poly (21-7), ranked No. 10 by The Times. Goalkeeper Allison Romain had nine saves for Riverside Poly, which led, 11-2, after one quarter. Riverisde Poly will play Redlands Wednesday evening. Temescal Canyon finishes 25-4.
Upland 10, Palm Desert 3
Vanessa Lindsey scored three goals and Nicki Ruesch, Bri Anderson and Jenna Schuster each had two goals for Upland (27-3), which converted two of five six-on-five opportunities. Lindsey and Anderson each hit a four-meter penalty shot, both drawn by Lindsey’s sister, Brianna Lindsey, who turned in a strong defensive effort at the two-meter guard position.
DIVISION VI
Downey 12, Norco 4
Traci Aparicio, Kristin Swart and Sofia Patronas had three goals apiece and combined for 12 steals to lift Downey (25-5). Keeper Marshay Aguilar deflected 11 shots for the Vikings.
Garden Grove 7, Corona Centennial 4
Ashley Mead had three goals and Ashley Warren scored two to lead visiting third-seeded Garden Grove (24-4). Centennial is 22-8.
Jurupa Valley 9, Costa Mesa 8
Jasmine Schnakenberg scored with just under four minutes to play to give fourth-seeded Jurupa Valley (15-9) what turned out to be the decisive goal in the Southern Section Division IV quarterfinal victory over visiting Costa Mesa.
Laura Uribe led the Jaguars (15-9) with four goals in the game and has 138 goals this season. Schnakenberg finished with three goals. Jurupa Valley, which has won five consecutive games, led, 5-3, at halftime.
Jessica Steenhard had four goals and Sarah Bowman added two goals for Costa Mesa (17-13), the Golden West League champion. The Mustangs trailed, 8-4, going into the fourth quarter but scored four goals in the period, including three by Steenhard.
Rowland 20, Garden Grove La Quinta 2
Danielle Montenegro and Rebecca Edwards each scored five goals to lead top-seeded Rowland (23-1).

DIVISION I
Foothill 18, Burbank 2
Jillian Kraus had five goals and Roxanne Rovenger and Grace Reynolds scored three apiece for host second-seeded Foothill (25-3), which led, 13-1, at halftime.
Los Alamitos 15, Dana Hills 1
Jessica Lewis scored seven goals and Dayna Wawrdynski added four goals for host third-seeded Los Alamitos (21-8). Dana Hills finishes 18-8.
Montebello 16, Rosary 4
Daisy Carrillo scored four goals and Yvonne Viramontes added three goals for host Montebello (24-5), which led, 12-0, at halftime. Gaby Stava had two goals and Sam Caballero and Rebecca McCall each had a goal for visiting Rosary (15-15).
Newport Harbor 12, Lakewood 2
Jessica Ball and Anne Belden had three goals apiece to pace host top-seeded Newport Harbor (21-3), which led, 8-1, at halftime. Lakewood is 16-9.
Santa Margarita 4, Woodbridge 3
Darby Anderson had two goals and goalie Caitlin O’Connor made 12 saves for host Santa Margarita (18-10), ranked No. 9 by The Times. Goalie Catherine Anderson had 12 saves for Woodbridge.

Courtney Mathewson had three goals and 10 steals and keeper Whitney Rocha turned back seven shots to lift host Canyon (19-10), which led, 4-0, at halftime and, 6-1, after three quarters.
Corona del Mar 10, Sunny Hills 5
Katya Eadington scored five goals, two in the first quarter, one in the second and two more in the third quarter, to lead top-seeded Corona del Mar (19-9), which built a 10-2 lead after three periods. Katlin Kubas and Camille Hewko added two goals apiece for the Sea Kings. Christina McEwen had three goals and four steals for visiting Sunny Hills.
El Dorado 5, El Segundo 3
Whitney Shaw had three goals and two assists for El Dorado (16-11). Katy Lawlor had two goals for El Segundo.
Irvine University 8, Savanna 3
Liza McRuer had three goals and four steals and Kaitlyn Dorsey added two goals and three steals to lead University (12-18). Casey Davis had 16 saves and a goal for Savanna (23-7).
Peninsula 13, Buena Park 8
Melissa Mueller had four goals and Erin O’Donnell chipped in with three goals for host second-seeded Peninsula (22-4).
Troy 21, Santa Ana Valley 6
Danielle O’Toole had 11 goals, four assists and four steals for host fourth-seeded Troy (22-3), which will play Anaheim Canyon Saturday in the second round.
Villa Park 11, Katella 6
Lindsey Bruner had a season-high seven goals, four in the first half, to lift visiting Villa Park (20-10), which led, 8-2, at halftime. Ashley Avila had three goals for Katella (21-6).
Laguna Beach 10, Cypress 2

Ayala 14, California 7
Lindsay Nixon had four goals and Chelsea Curran had three to help lift host and second-seeded Ayala (22-7).
Bonita 8, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 3
Julia Fancher had four goals, Brianna Wilson scored three and Jessica Reimel made nine saves in goal for host Bonita.
El Rancho 16, Arcadia 6
Sharayah Hernandez had five goals, Brandy Bray added three goals and keeper Miriam Quintanilla made 10 saves to lift host third-seeded El Rancho (26-3), which led, 10-1, at the half. Tassja Spindler had three goals for Arcadia.
Harvard-Westlake 9, Charter Oak 3
Goalie Fran Felder made 15 saves for host Harvard-Westlake, which led, 5-3, going into the fourth period. Stephanie Heinrich scored two goals and goalie Heather Curtis had 16 saves for Charter Oak (15-14).
La Canada 14, Pasadena Poly 2
Kara Murphy scored six goals and Jen Jorgensen added five goals for visiting La Canada (19-9). Pasadena Poly finishes the season 11-7.
Temple City 14, Louisville 2
Jessica Coy scored four goals and Linda Calvert added three goals for host Temple City (23-6). Louisville finishes the season 14-10.
Whittier 14, San Marino 2

Agoura 28, Camarillo 4
Megan O’Linn had eight goals and five assists and Meghan Corso added six goals and four assists for fourth-seeded Agoura (21-8), which built an 18-1 halftime lead.

Keeper Katy Zweisel made 24 saves and Claire Jacobson had two goals, including the game-winner as time expired, to lead host San Luis Obisbo (17-7).

Kami Craig had three goals and Sarah Frost added two goals to lead host top-seeded Santa Barabara (26-2), ranked No. 1 by The Times.

Katie Inglett, Ashley Minor and Kathleen O’Brien-Price scored three goals each to lead visiting Riverside North (23-8).

Monique Blanchard and Sam Greenawalt each scored seven goals to lead host Riverside Poly (20-7), ranked No. 10 by The Times and the seeded second in Division V.
Temescal Canyon 17, San Bernardino 6
Katie Wing scored six goals and Teresa Fleming added four goals for host Temescal Canyon (24-3). Goalie Emily Fardig made 17 saves for the Titans, who will face Riverside Poly in the second round.
Upland 20, Redlands East Valley 2
Ashley Rothweiler scored five goals and Vanessa Lindsey had four and three assists for host Upland (26-3). Jenna Schuster added three goals and three assists for the Highlanders, ranked No. 8 by The Times and seeded No. 1 in Division V. Upland will face Palm Desert in the second round.

Melody Bahu had three goals, Danielle Dunlap added two goals and keeper Timorie Dillon made eight saves to lead visiting Norco (16-8). Laurel Thackeray and Alicia Rohberg each had a goal and keeper Carliegh McDonald had 13 saves for host Torrance (10-14).

Irvine University 11, Placentia Valencia 2Christina Spiezia had four goals and Leah Nelson added three goals for visting Irvine University (11-18), which advanced to play at Savanna Thursday in the first round.
Sunny Hills 7, Western 4
Sunny Hills will play at Corona del Mar Thursday in the first round.

Margo Diamond had seven goals and Lisa Reilly had seven saves through three quarters for host California (18-9), which had 20 steals. California will play at No. 2 seed Ayala Thursday in the first round. Muir ends 8-12.

Sophomore Kristiyn Ross of Louisville (14-10) had five goals and teammate Juliana Pasos added three goals at Pierce College. The Royals will play at Temple City Thurday in the first round.
San Marino 10, Chadwick 5
San Marino advanced to play at Whittier Thursday in the first round. Marisa Esposito scored four goals for host Chadwick (12-11) and finished the season with 72 goals.

Oxnard 8, Atascadero 3
Oxnard advanced to play at Santa Barbara Thursday in the first round.
Santa Ynez 15, Malibu 6
Santa Ynez opened a 5-0 lead in the first quarter and cruised over host Malibu (13-13). Santa Ynez will play at Royal Thursday in the first round.

Shannon Cole and Kristina Dumos each had two goals for visiting Palm Springs, which advanced to play at Riverside Poly Thursday in the first round. Tanya Torres had four goals and five steals for Rancho Cucamonga. The game was tied at halftime.

Alana Martinez and Ashley Minor each had three goals for host Riverside North (22-8), which will play at La Quinta Thursday in the first round.
