Celebration at skid row shelter honors supporter Anne Douglas, wife of actor Kirk Douglas

Anne Douglas, center, is surrounded by women enrolled at the Anne Douglas Center for Women. She launched the shelter in 1992, and since then she and husband Kirk Douglas have donated $21 million to it.
