Body found near berth at Port of Los Angeles
A body was found Wednesday night near a berth at the Port of Los Angeles, fire officials said.
The body may be that of a maritime worker, but the circumstances of how the person died were not immediately clear, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The agency said the coroner’s office, along with federal occupational safety workers and Port police, were investigating the incident.
The body was found near Berth 136 in the 900 block of Harry Bridges Boulevard. No other details were immediately available.
