Man, 90, in grave condition after neighbors pull him from garage fire
A 90-year-old man was in grave condition Wednesday after he was pulled from his burning garage in Mission Hills, officials said.
The man, who was rushed to an area hospital, suffered severe burns, said Los Angeles fire spokesman Brian Humphrey.
“He is fighting for his life,” Humphrey said.
The two neighbors who rescued the man from the garage in the 14000 block of South Brand Boulevard were also burned.
One of the neighbors, a 32-year-old man, was listed in fair condition. The other neighbor, a 63-year-old man, was in serious condition.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
