LAPD investigates report of paint balls fired at officers
Los Angeles police were searching a Boyle Heights neighborhood late Monday after an individual apparently fired paint balls at officers.
The officers were in the area near Wabash Avenue when the paint balls were believed to have been fired around 9:40 p.m.
Additional police swooped down on the area and began searching for suspects.
No other details were immediately available.
