As detectives continued to investigate, Anaheim police on Wednesday identified an 18-year-old man who died shortly after police found him suffering from gunshot wounds in an alley.
Ivan Rivera of Anaheim and an unidentified 21-year-old man who survived the attack were found by Anaheim police about 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of West Glen Avenue.
Each suffered from at least one gunshot wound, said Lt. Bob Dunn, spokesman for the Anaheim Police Department.
The 21-year-old man was treated at a local hospital and released, but Rivera died at about 3 a.m., Dunn said.
Rivera became Orange County’s third fatal shooting victim since Friday.
Police believe the men may have been shot by rival gang members, Dunn said.
