Degree rates: A Sept. 13 Op-Ed about ways to re-imagine California’s higher education system cited studies that found that only 18% of those who enter the state’s community colleges earn an AA degree. In fact, that percentage didn’t apply to all who enter community colleges, just those who entered intending to get an AA degree.
