Letters: Saving L.A.’s marionette theater
Re “Puppet show dangling financially,” June 11
Sorry to hear about the financial problems and possible closure of the unique and wonderful Bob Baker Marionette Theater. So many Southland youngsters (and oldsters) have enjoyed Baker’s magic.
A small portion of the $10 million for that L.A. County Museum of Art “rock” would go a long way to help Baker and so many other underfunded arts groups.
