Claire O’Callahan was a 2024 spring features and wellness intern for the Los Angeles Times. She graduated from Occidental College, where she majored in critical theory and social justice. Before joining The Times, O’Callahan freelanced for the Eastsider and the Berkshire Eagle, covering independent bookstores, street art, food sovereignty and more. She also wrote and edited the campus news beat for her college newspaper, the Occidental.
