Jeff Amlotte joined the Los Angeles Times in 1999 and has been a video journalist since 2007. Among his various roles, he’s been a lab technician, digital imaging specialist and video editor. His passion for photography, film and cinematography was born when he received a Polaroid Land camera when he was 9. Since then, he’s pursued black-and-white landscape photography as a way to linger in nature’s beauty.
