She studies journalism at Cal State Fullerton, where she previously worked as the editor in chief of its student newspaper, the Daily Titan. Her work has been recognized by the Associated Collegiate Press, California College Media Assn. and the California News Publishers Assn. She was selected as a NBCU Academy fellow in 2021.
