Live results: California’s 22nd congressional district special election

San Joaquin Valley voters weighed in Tuesday on who will represent the 22nd Congressional District after Republican Rep. Devin Nunes resigned in January to lead former President Trump’s social media company. The winner of the special election will serve the remainder of Nunes’ term, which ends in January 2023. If no candidate receives a majority of the votes, the two top vote getters will head to a runoff in June. Starting next year, the 22nd congressional district as it is currently constituted will no longer exist due to redistricting.
