Two men arrested, accused of having sex with underage teen girl

Burbank police arrested two 33-year-old men accused of having sex with a 17-year-old girl they met online last year, police said.

The investigation began last October, when detectives learned the victim had independent sexual relationships with both men that month after meeting them through dating websites, said Burbank Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco.

Michael Kowalczyk, of Los Angeles, pleaded not guilty Thursday to one count of unlawful sexual intercourse and sodomy of a person under 18, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Meanwhile, North Hollywood resident Michael Kalec, who’s been previously convicted of having sex with a minor, was arrested last week on suspicion of having sex with a minor and oral copulation on a minor, police said.

Kalec was released after posting $70,000 bail and is due in court later this month.
