Pet of the week

Dutchess, a black Manx, was rescued from an animal shelter before she

was put to sleep. She is about a year old and has no tail, which is

characteristic of the breed.

She and other recently saved animals will be available for adoption

Saturdays and Sundays through the Animal Network of Orange County in

front of Russo’s Pet Experience, Suite 1013, at Fashion Island, 905

Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach.

The network encourages the community to adopt the pets, as this allows

more room to bring in saved animals.

The network’s financial arm, the Community Animal Network, accepts

donations for medical bills. Donations may be sent to the organization’s
