POLICE LOGS
* A Street: Someone complained to police about fireworks going off
near homes in the 16000 block at 11:24 p.m. June 20.
* Adams Avenue and Beach Boulevard: A woman told police that a man in
his 40s with short, clean cut and dark hair, threw coins at her as she
was driving and got out of his car, approached her driver’s side window,
then grabbed and punched her while she was stopped at the intersection at
4:20 p.m. Saturday.
* Bluewater Lane: A woman described as between 30 and 40 years old and
wearing black swimsuit bottoms, was reported to police for indecent
exposure after allegedly going topless at a pool in the 16000 block at
11:20 a.m. Sunday.
* Brookhurst Street: Two vehicles, one a white pickup truck the other
a large suburban-type car, were reportedly driving recklessly through a
park, near a playground for small children, in the 19000 block at 9:51
p.m. June 20.
* Dellglen Circle: Someone told police that a neighbor’s home was in
flames in the 17000 block at 3:44 a.m. Friday.
* Fantasia Lane: Someone apparently stole an empty boat trailer while
it was parked in the driveway of a home in the 16000 at 7:28 p.m. Sunday.
* Florida Street: Police and fire officials responded to a car on fire
in the 18000 block at 2:28 p.m. Saturday.
* Frontier Circle: Police responded to a report of two shots fired
near a home in the 5000 block at 9:40 p.m. June 18.
* Golden West Street: A saddle valued at $3,000 was reported stolen
from a residence in the 18000 block at 11:42 a.m. June 19.
* Heil Avenue: Someone was apparently trespassing on private property
in an attempt sell corn to residents in the 4000 block at 7:21 p.m. June
21.
* Huntington Street: Police responded to a family disturbance reported
in the 100 block at 5:07 p.m. June 18.
* Liberty Avenue: Someone complained to police of vandalism to
property in the 7000 block at 7:08 a.m. June 21.
* Main Street: A woman, described as 40 years old with short blond
hair and jeans, standing 5 feet 6 inches high and weighing 160 pounds,
allegedly tried using false identification to cash a fake check in the
18000 block at 8:39 p.m. June 19.
* Production Drive: Someone allegedly made off with a bag packed with
$4,200 in cash and $400 in checks, on a bus in the 5000 block at 11 a.m.
Friday.
