American Legion Post 291 in Newport Beach will hold its pancake

breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. for a $10 donation. Their barbecue lunch

of chicken and tri-tip will run from noon to 3 p.m., also for $10.

The steak dinner, which must be reserved in advance, is a $15

donation and runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. The post is at 215 E. 15th

MARINERS PARK BIKE PARADE

Mariners Park in Newport Beach will host its 33rd annual bike

parade starting at 10 a.m. Monday. Games, rides and food stands will

stay open at the park, at the corner of Dover Drive and Irvine

Avenue, until 2:30 p.m.

OLD GLORY BOAT PARADE

The American Legion’s Old Glory Boat Parade will start at 1 p.m.

in Newport Harbor and will follow the same route as the Christmas

boat parade. Most waterfront areas along the harbor will provide a

view of the parade.

DUNES FIREWORKS SHOW

The Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort will hold its 46th Annual

Fireworks Extravaganza. Gates open at 7 a.m. and fireworks start at 9
