Laguna girls move to 4-0

In its first game of the New Year, the Laguna Beach girls’ Division 3 team (grades 3-4) continued its winning ways by defeating host Laguna Hills, 30-11, in National Junior Basketball action Saturday at the Laguna Hills Community Center.

Genoa Rossi led Laguna in scoring with 10 points. Eva Gardner with had six points, and Lucy Loughlin, Haley Hahn, Maggie Meekma, Matisse Sybirski, and Devyn Linder, each also got into the scoring column.

Laguna, which improved to 4-0, plays at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Margaret’s School.
