Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital receives patient safety award
Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital recently received the Healthgrades 2016 Patient Safety Excellence Award, a designation that recognizes superior performance in hospitals that have prevented serious, potentially avoidable complications for patients during hospital stays.

For the third year in a row, the honor places Glendale Memorial Hospital among the top 10% of hospitals in the country for its performance as evaluated by Healthgrades, according to hospital officials.
Healthgrades is an online resource for information about physicians and hospitals.
“Among our core Dignity Health values is excellence — exceeding expectations through teamwork and innovation. Working collaboratively to put patient safety first is critical to living this value. We are very pleased to receive this award three years in a row,” said Jack Ivie, the hospital’s president. “Our healthcare teams work closely with patients and their families to ensure that each patient is treated with equal parts kindness and quality care.”
