Suspects flee when Glendale police identify their car as stolen
Glendale police were searching for two suspects Monday afternoon who took off running after an officer linked them to a stolen car, police said.
An officer saw three people, a man and two women, who looked suspicious park and walk into Ralphs supermarket, located at 1416 E. Colorado St., according to Glendale Police Sgt. Robert William. When he ran the vehicle identification number, he discovered the car had been reported stolen.
After the man exited the store and saw the officer, he reportedly took off running. One of the two women was apprehended while trying to run out of the back of the market.

Police have set up a perimeter in the area to search for the two outstanding suspects.
It was unclear why the trio looked suspicious. Descriptions of the outstanding suspects were not available.
