Two men sentenced for taking explicit photos with unconscious women
Two 23-year-old men accused of taking explicit photographs with unconscious women pleaded no contest Thursday to one misdemeanor count of sexual battery, officials said.
Glendale resident Pedro Garcia and Lincoln Heights resident Bryan Lizarraga Castillo were both sentenced to 90 days in Los Angeles County jail and four years of formal probation, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Both suspects were ordered to stay away from the one identified victim during their probation, and will be required to register as sex offenders for life. They also must complete a year of sexual compulsive classes.
The pair had been out celebrating a friend’s birthday last month when at the end of the night, they offered a mutual friend, a 22-year-old woman, a ride home, said Glendale Police Sgt. Robert William.
Prior to being offered a ride, the woman reportedly drank a beer from a plastic cup in a restaurant parking lot. It was not clear who gave her the drink.
The victim told police she subsequently blacked out and woke up in Garcia’s car the following morning. Garcia’s phone was in the car, and on it were photographs of the three of them, with Garcia kissing her bare chest, William said.
Police found additional photos of the men in which another unidentified woman was passed out with her hand on the crotch of one suspect, and her face in the crotch of another, police said.
Some of the photos were shared on Facebook.
Both suspects had also been charged with one count of sexual penetration by foreign object, though that charge was dismissed.
