Tax exemption forms available for some La Cañada residents

La Cañada Unified School District reminds senior citizens and owners of contiguous parcels that they qualify for exemption from the annual parcel tax for the 2016 tax year. Anyone older than 65, in addition to owners of contiguous parcels, may submit an exemption form before a June 30 deadline.

Forms are available at the district’s Fiscal Services Office, 4490 Cornishon Ave., La Cañada, or can be downloaded at www.lcusd.net. Any residents who previously submitted exemption forms do not need to reapply for the exemption; those forms, unless circumstances have changed, are valid throughout the life of the parcel tax.
