Baseball: Eagle Rock, Franklin reach City Section Division II championship game

It will be an all-Northern League baseball final on Saturday at Dodger Stadium in the City Section Division II championship game at 10 a.m.
On Thursday in the semifinals at USC, Eagle Rock defeated Chavez, 3-1. Jacob Alvarez threw a one-hitter.
In the other semifinal, Franklin fell behind, 5-0, but rallied for a 7-6 victory over Roybal, which committed five errors.
Christian Diaz gave Franklin the lead for good in the seventh with an RBI single, capping a three-run inning.
The Division I final on Saturday at Dodger Stadium will match Chatsworth and El Camino Real at 1 p.m.
