Boys’ basketball: Etiwanda is in early season top form
With USC-bound Jordan McLaughlin in charge on the court, No. 2-ranked Etiwanda showed this week it’s going to be a strong contender to defend its Southern Section 1AA championship.
The Eagles won the Corona Centennial tournament championship on Saturday night, defeating the host Huskies, 69-58.
McLaughlin finished with 17 points and was named tournament MVP. Dominick Alexander and Kameron Edwards also made all-tournament for the Eagles.
