Boys’ basketball: Former Pacific Hills Coach Herman Nash found dead in jail
Herman Nash, who helped coach West Hollywood Pacific Hills to a Division IV state basketball championship in 2013, was found dead earlier this week at the Pitchess Dentention Center North Facility, City News Service reported. The death is under investigation.
Nash, 47, was sentenced on April 20 for having sex with a 16-year-old girl.
In 2013, he took over as head coach in the middle of the season and guided Pacific Hills to the state title.
