Boys’ basketball: Jayce Johnson leaves JSerra for Findlay Prep
The exodus of basketball players from Southern California continues.
Jayce Johnson, a 7-foot junior center from JSerra, has left for Findlay Prep in Nevada.
He’ll join former Sierra Canyon guard Derryck Thornton.
Johnson is an A student with improving skills.
It continues a trend of top players leaving for prep schools.
“His work ethic is tremendous,” Coach Joedy Gardner said.
