Boys’ basketball: No. 1 Chino Hills scores 85 points _ in the first half
Chino Hills, ranked No. 1 in boys’ basketball by The Times, made its debut on Monday night in the Corona Centennial tournament and scored 85 points in the first half to open an 85-20 lead over San Bernardino.
Three Ball brothers and their cousin all scored in double figures.
Lonzo Ball had 25 points, including eight dunks, and 12 assists. Freshman LaMelo Ball scored 18 points and junior LiAngelo Ball had 17 points. Cousin Andre Ball scored 11 points.
San Bernardino had 27 turnovers.
Chino Hills won the game, 131-42.
