Boys’ basketball: The Cage offers hope for high school sports [Video]
Students do their best in 54-41 loss to the Cubs
Sometimes there’s negatives associated with high school sports, but watching students show their loyalty and spirit always provides a little inspiration. And the student section at Chaminade, known as The Cage, sure has lots of fun rooting for its team.
That was the case again on Friday night at home, where the Eagles were beaten by Loyola, 54-41. But the students did their best and had fun with their cheers.
You certainly have to be in good shape to be part of The Cage with all the jumping up and down they do. Even opposing teams have to enjoy the atmosphere created in the Chaminade gym.
