Football: Carson is excited about its sophomore running back

First-year Carson Coach Kevin McCall can’t wait to unveil sophomore running back Daevon Vigilant, a 5-foot-9, 190-pound punishing back who McCall said has the chance to be outstanding.
Carson also could be strengthened by a group of transfer students who used to live in Carson but left for other schools, such as Compton Dominguez. The City Section is reviewing the transfer paperwork.
