Football: Hawkins QB Jorge Amaya passes for 739 yards in win over West Adams
Near perfect. That was the evaluation of the passing performance from Los Angeles Hawkins quarterback Jorge Amaya on Friday in a 46-27 Exposition League win over West Adams.
According to Hawkins statistics, Amaya completed 45 of 56 passes for 739 yards and five touchdowns.
The most passing yards in City Section history was from Palisades in 2000 when the Dolphins had 764 yards against Grant, according to the CalHiSports.com record book.
