Football: K.J. Latu does everything for Paraclete except carry the water bottles

First-year Paraclete Coach Dean Herrington has discovered that 5-foot-11, 220-pound K.J. Latu is one of the most versatile players he has ever coached.

Linebacker is Latu’s best position, but Latu also will play receiver, running back, tight end and is the backup quarterback. He’s also the punter.

“He’s one of the best all-around players I’ve ever coached,” said Herrington, who was head coach at Alemany and served as an assistant at Hart.
