Football: QB Matt Corral from Oaks Christian picks up offer from USC

It has been a tough week for USC, but its new interim coach, Clay Helton, is moving forward.
He has made a scholarship offer to sophomore quarterback Matt Corral of Oaks Christian, Coach Jim Benkert said.
Corral has helped lead the Lions to a 7-0 record. He has passed for 1,797 yards and 21 touchdowns.
His standout receiver, Michael Pittman, is headed to USC.
