Football: Strong field for Pierce College passing tournament on Saturday

Pierce College will be the site on Saturday for a seven on seven passing tournament that begins at 8:30 a.m.

Among the teams entered are Oaks Christian, St. Bonaventure, Crespi, Leuzinger, Westlake, Calabasas, Alemany, Sierra Canyon, Culver City, Salesian, El Camino Real and Birmingham.

There are six four-team pools. Championship action will occur in the afternoon.
