Girls’ basketball: Leaonna Odom is MVP for Chaminade
Tournament MVP Leaonna Odom of Chaminade scored 18 points to help the Eagles defeat Cajon, 57-54, in the championship game of the Palisades tournament on Saturday night.
Valerie Higgins added 18 points for the Eagles (4-0).
Oaks Christian defeated Ventura, 52-38, in the third-place game.
