Girls’ volleyball: Palisades’ Delaney Arth, Faylenn McDonough are City players of the year

The Palisades duo of Delaney Arth and Faylenn McDonough have been named the City Section Division I co-players of the year in girls’ volleyball.

First-team Division I All-City includes Olivia Zelon, Palisades; Levila Losua, Carson; Hannah Patton, Granada Hills; Rach Kayongo, Granada Hills; Sarah Hagge, Granada Hills, and Alex Ardaki, El Camino Real.

In Division II, Andrea Bosnic of Taft was selected the player of the year.

In Division III, Ariana Espindola of Verdugo Hills is the player of the year.

In Division IV, the player of the year is Jessica Hernandez of Elizabeth.

In Division V, the player of the year is Maritza Martinez of Central City.
