Lacrosse: Birmingham, Palisades win City Section championships

The Birmingham girls’ team and the Palisades boys’ team each won City Section championships in lacrosse on Friday night at Birmingham.
In the girls final, Birmingham defeated Palisades, 7-3. Jade Barrett of Birmingham scored two goals and had two assists.
In the boys final, Macchio Rissone scored six goals and had two assists in Palisades’ 19-9 win over Hamilton.
